Apple Has Plenty to Gain
I found Gruber’s response to MG Siegler’s piece on the recent Office for iPad mystery to be uncharacteristically off-the-mark.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, but if Microsoft does get a demo slot on stage during the iPad 3 keynote, Microsoft would be getting much more out of it than Apple.
Granted, Gruber lives inside the Apple fishbowl, but he usually does a great job...

Great question.
I added tethering to my plan for a recent business trip and was forced to jump to the new 3/5gb plan (of course going back to 2gb is not even an option). If 2gb is excessive, I wonder if I will get throttled before I even reach my cap in the high-traffic areas they claim to be focusing the throttling.
